Let’s celebrate the winning streak! 2018 seems to be the year of Viña Costeira winery and its products. Both Decanter and IWC awards have made public their choice: our wines.
The Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), the biggest and most influential wine competition, recognized four of our products. Judged by wine experts all around the world, this competition relies on a great international prestige and a strict procedure.
For this reason, we are really pleased to confirming the products awarded: Colección 68 (Silver), Viña Costeira Mencía (Silver) and Modus Vivendi (Bronze). Those great recognitions prove again the excellent quality and reception of the Ribadavia’s winery products.
Colección 68, Viña Costeira Mencía and Viña Costeira Ribeiro: more awards in IWC competition
Besides Decanter awards, another international contest has chosen us recently. The International Wine Challenge (IWC),celebrated its 34th edition and after a blind date and at least 10 different judges, they decided to award two of our products: Viña Costeira Ribeiro (Silver) and Viña Costeira Mencía (Silver).
Hospitality launching event in Casa de Galicia, Madrid
Besides the mentioned awards, our products were the main actors in an event celebrated in Madrid’s Casa de Galicia, the Xunta de Galicia delegation in the capital. Last innovations were presented there, and the hostelry industry could check in-situ the new designs as well as the actions prepared for this 2018, the 50th Anniversary of Viña Costeira.
The celebration hosted a showroom with four tables attended by staff from the winery who explained all about wines and liquors. It was also entertained with jazz Damy Soul live music and a product tasting catering.
Between the winery’s assistants, Andrés Rodríguez, Managing Director and President, Elena Hermoso, Commercial Representative in Madrid, Manuel Sánchez, oenologist and Inmaculada Bernal, Commercial Director.
After the last recognitions and the winery’s promotion event, added to the 50th Anniversary actions, Viña Costeira’s wine and liquors continue its spreading beyond Galicia, achieving a great acceptance at every level by the general public, the hostelry industry, judges and experts from the world of wine
